Basic pistol course FOR WOMEN focuses on the fundamentals of basic safety, weapon handling and marksmanship and provides students with a framework to get the most out of their training. This basic pistol course builds a true understanding of the basics for the shooter, leaving with confidence and skills for their choice of pistol.
This course covers:– basic safety & handling skills
– fundamentals of shooting a pistol
– pistol manipulation & mechanics
– live & dry fire shooting drills
– loading & reloading fundamentals
– importance of grip and stance
– fundamentals of sight alignment and sight picture
– draw and retention from the holster
– weapon conditions
– safety conditions
– basic shooting positions

RDS / Pistol Optic Instructor Development course

Optic / RDS Instructor is an advanced-level training course tailored to individuals who possess a solid foundation in pistol skills and seek to enhance their expertise in using an Optic / RDS equipped pistol.
This course focuses on transferring knowledge to our students in the methodology and mechanics of becoming a skilled Optic / RDS Instructor, proficient in teaching the fundamentals of utilizing an Optic / RDS on a pistol. Upon successful completion we also provide support information and templates for implementing an Optic / RDS program for your agency, mounting, armoring, tool selection and SOP development.
Topics covered: Techniques for zeroing your Optic / RDS, alternate aiming and downed optic options. You will learn fast & efficient draw and presentation techniques to find the dot and make pinpoint accurate shots. You will learn how to provide diagnostics on yourself as well as those you train to enhance overall performance, increase accuracy and consistency which in turn decreases overall liability on the Instructor, shooter, agency or company.
Required equipment.

- Duty rig or reliable EDC belt

- Reliable Pistol with an Optic/RDS

Hosting requirements;
Suitable range which allows for drawing from a holster.
Targets, target stands or equivalent.
Hosts will receive 2 free spots. In state (NJ) classes have a minimum of 8 paid spots, most out of state classes have a minimum of 12 paid spots based on travel distance.
